Look Deep into Nature

“Look deep into nature & then you will understand everything better.”

In a city like Vancouver the beauty of nature is inescapable and for that I am ever more grateful.

I have thoroughly enjoyed spending the summer hiking, cycling and exploring all kinds of different beachfronts. I could not be more grateful for the breathtaking moments I have experienced just looking at the nature that surrounds me.

I know there is more to life, a meaning shall we say, when I see the exquisite pattern of nature.

After reading one of my favorite books The Power of Now, I can no longer just pass by a leaf on a tree or a butterfly without really recognizing it’s absolute beauty and how utterly blessed we are to be witness to it.

I spend a lot of time outdoors and I encourage you all to do the same. Look at every detail of the next tree you come across and silence the mind… there is an incredible connection between us and nature and we simply shouldn’t ignore it.

“The clearest way into the Universe is through a forest wilderness.” ― John Muir

“…and then, I have nature and art and poetry, and if that is not enough, what is enough?”― Vincent van Gogh

“Live in each season as it passes; breathe the air, drink the drink, taste the fruit, and resign yourself to the influence of the earth.” ― Henry David Thoreau, Walden

“Our task must be to free ourselves… by widening our circle of compassion to embrace all living creatures and the whole of nature and it’s beauty.”― Albert Einstein

“Nature is not a place to visit. It is home.”― Gary Snyder

“The goal of life is to make your heartbeat match the beat of the universe, to match your nature with Nature.”― Joseph Campbell

“Rest is not idleness, and to lie sometimes on the grass under trees on a summer’s day, listening to the murmur of the water, or watching the clouds float across the sky, is by no means a waste of time.” -John Lubbock

“I have lived pain, and my life can tell: I only deepen the wound of the world when I neglect to give thanks the heavy perfume of wild roses in early July and the song of crickets on summer humid nights and the rivers that run and the stars that rise and the rain that falls and all the good things that a good God gives.”—Ann Voskamp

“Plant seeds of happiness, hope, success, and love; it will all come back to you in abundance. This is the law of nature.”― Steve Maraboli

“Nature does nothing uselessly.”

― Aristotle
