Hello my amazing readers!!
Happy Thursday 🙂 only one more day of the week to go before we kick off the weekend. As my quest for healthy food recipes continues, I want to introduce you guys to my new favorite salad: The detox watermelon salad. Now I know what you are thinking; watermelon is pretty darn good on its own, what more could you possibly do to make it better?
Well.. apparently a lot! By adding a bit of lime juice, a tad bit of mint .. you just raised the bar!! this recipe also has a lot of health benefits for your digestive system.
- 4 cups diced watermelon
- Juice of 2 limes
- 1/4 cup chopped mint
- 1 tbsp. of brown sugar
- Goat Cheese (optional)–> I personally don’t like to add this but hey, if it’s your thing go for it!
Add all the ingredients in a bowl and shake it till it’s all mixed together!
